Floritza Gomez is a blogger and recipe developer with a passion for creating healthy variations of traditional Latin cuisine. She is a proud Afro-Latina and accredits her new found self-love, evolution and healthy relationship with not only food, but herself, to the Whole30 program. After completing more than 8 rounds of Whole30, she is an active advocate within her community; bringing awareness and relatable healthy food options. She has grown to understand that it not only starts with food, but it also most definitely starts with you; constantly advocating self-love and commitment. As a Bronx native, Floritza hopes that the Whole30 will help shift the food dessert mentality and bring sustained healthy eating habits into the lives of its underserved population. Floritza is a Frida Khalo loving artist, who loves listening to Bachata while in the kitchen and is on an ever evolving mission to be the best version of herself.
“Why the Whole30? Because it highlights how uniquely different we all are. I can’t tell you what your results will be, but I can promise you that the best non scale victory you will witness, is the commitment to yourself; and that is priceless”
