Kristin Nelson is a Master-Level Certified Personal Trainer and group fitness instructor with a 2nd Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo who specializes in individualized fitness planning, as well as HIIT and kickboxing classes. She and her husband Dale founded and own a community fitness facility where all walks of life are welcome. Kristin and Dale also formed their community’s first Special Olympics Swim team, and were recently selected to bring a team of 8 swimmers from the state of Minnesota to the Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle. Kristin is looking forward to bringing the Whole 30 community and knowledge to the athletes of the Special Olympics, and their families and care providers and coaches. Kristin also works with endurance athletes in her community, and as a triathlete and marathoner herself focuses on food as fuel, and how that looks different than the previous thinking! Giant plates full of spaghetti are not the only way to succeed as an endurance athlete! Kristin’s no-nonsense, realistic approach is appreciated by clients and they feel her commitment to their success.
