Mandie Peterson is a Nutrition Consultant whose mission is to help others escape the dieting roller coaster and to understand that health is about so much more than the number on the scale. As a former serial dieter and Weight Watchers instructor, she understands the guilt, disappointment, and frustration that results when seeking a short-term solution to an unidentified problem. Mandie believes that we each have a personal responsibility to take control of our own health and that there is no “one size fits all” solution. She feels that the Whole 30 is the ideal tool to help her clients pinpoint which foods may be causing, aggravating or perpetuating their health conditions; allowing them to move into Food Freedom and drastically improve their quality of life.
With 5 rounds of Whole30 under her belt, Mandie has personally experienced an improvement in her hormonal function, quality and duration of sleep, and energy level. She has found a lifestyle that not only nourishes her body and helps to fight disease, but also supports local farmers. A mother of three college students, Mandie enjoys reading, walking, hiking, trying new recipes, and eating!
