Sarah is the founder of Sarah Bites Back, which focuses on taking a bite out of life again despite chronic pain. You’ll see all the adventure, recipes and how she makes it work, even during a pain flare. After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia in high school and after running through all the medicines that were available, with no change in pain, she searched for a more holistic solution. She knew there was something that could help which led her to whole30 in 2015. Finding Whole30 opened up a whole new pain free world. Sarah’s goal is to help others with autoimmune diseases decrease or eliminate their symptoms and build a life they can live while feeling well.
“When I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in high school I told myself that I wouldn’t let it hold me back from living life. I’d ran through all the medicines in 3 years and none of them worked. My baseline, or “normal”, pain level was at minimum a five out of ten. I knew there had to be something that would help. After a few Whole30s and one AIP round, I had figured everything out. I was pain free for the first time in 10 years. I actually didn’t realize it until someone asked me how my pain was, and I had to really think for a long time before I realized I wasn’t in any. Now I can truly take a bite out of life again.”
