Erin Arias, Physical / Occupational Therapist
Milford, New Hampshire
Erin Arias is an Occupational Therapist (MS, OTR/L) who focuses on helping clients create new habits, routines and rituals around planning, preparing, and enjoying meals. Erin takes a client-centered approach to evaluate clients, establish goals, develop a plan, and identify barriers to establishing healthier habits and routines. She’s had an interest in nutrition and public health for over a decade and always hoped to find a way to connect her occupational therapy skills and her passion for wellness. She completed her first round of Whole30 in 2014 and has completed several rounds since, including a Whole60 at the start of 2019. In addition to being an OT and Whole30 Certified Coach, she is a mother to two little boys, a rental property owner, an Airbnb Superhost, a karaoke-lover, and, frankly, a goofball.
“Occupational therapy practice is deeply rooted in the idea that all humans must engage in meaningful and purposeful occupations for optimal health and functioning. What is more meaningful and purposeful than selecting and preparing the food that nourishes our bodies? I feel most excited working with people who find Whole30 impossible. I like the challenge of helping my clients dig deep to learn about the experiences, attitudes and behaviors driving their food choices. If you dive deep into your Whole30, you’ll come out the other side a new person! During Whole30 mindfulness, awareness and introspection are as essential as eggs, avocados and sweet potatoes.”
