Like so many, Whole 30 changed Heather’s life. She went in backwards, reading Food Freedom Forever first, and a few chapters in she felt like her world was cracked open. It was what she had fought for most of her adult life, control over food, not food controlling her. After personally experiencing the life changing benefits of Whole 30 she brought the program to her clients. She confirmed what she had long suspected, that her issues with food were very common, but few were talking about them. She firmly believes that it really does Start with Food, and how we nourish ourselves plays deeply into everything we do. Her mission is to bring food freedom to all her clients, to provide them with the tools to successfully complete a Whole 30 and to empower them to take the self-efficacy needed to rock a round into every aspect of their life. She knows a round of Whole 30 may start off being about food, but it can turn into so much more if you are open to it. Her goal is to help you step into your power and realize you can do hard things, you deserve to take care of yourself, and on the other side of 30 days is a whole new world!
Heather and her husband own two Strength and Conditioning Facility’s in upstate New York. She is a mother of three, a fitness lover, and self improvement enthusiast.
“Like the people who walk into my gym, I never saw food as nourishment, it was calories. It was either good or bad and dieting and restricting was the only way to maintain or lose weight. Whole 30 showed me there is another way. I had no idea my depressed and anxious mood, poor sleep and awful recovery from the gym was related to my diet. My first round taught me how to eat without guilt, and showed me how good I was supposed to feel. I no longer feel trapped in that negative cycle, Whole 30 gave me a power I did not know I had, and while I still have work to do, because of Whole 30 I am always moving forward.”
