Jenny Meadows, Sports / Fitness / Yoga
Charlotte, North Carolina
Jenny Meadows, alongside her husband Josh, run a nonprofit called The Abandon Project which serves at risk youth and communities. With Jenny’s heart for her community, and through seeing their lack of resources to health education and nutritious foods, Jenny started the TAP Health Initiative in order to provide health resources to her community that they otherwise wouldn’t have. Here she serves her local community in providing practical uses of food, health and wellness education, weekly cooking and skills classes and fitness boot camp classes. Jenny is a certified personal trainer and will be finishing up her master’s degree in nutrition late August. Jenny has a heart to find wholeness in every area of her life, and to give her community the resources to do the same. She has the desire to bring men and women from all areas of life together through Whole30 coaching sponsorship opportunities.
“Throughout the time it took for me to find my wholeness, I also found that I was worth it, and I knew that so many other people were worth investing in too. That’s when I decided to take what I knew and give it away. That’s when I invited my neighbors to come to the table.”
